I just love THREE day weekends, even though it makes it hard to come back to work.

The kids start school today! I am so excited. They are both going to the SAME school since I found one that is 7th grade thru 12th grade, great school!  They even go by ability instead of grade, so my kid could be in 7th grade classes and have one 12th grade class if he needed it. That is sooo cool! I am so excited. And this school has no real PE class, you either take Judo, Taiko Drumming, Ballet, Dance, etc.  Its neat!

Anyway, I gotta get to work. Have a good one!!

A really good friend of the family died yesterday, lung cancer.  Sad..  I hadn't seen her in a couple months, I know last I did though she didn't look too good - but I had no idea anything was wrong with her.

*sigh* I really miss writing here.

I guess I can still write but just resist the temptation to wander.

Remember when we were young and carefree and didn't hang on to things that bothered us? Man, wouldn't that be great?  If things people did or said hurt us, it didn't sting like it does now. Things just kind of rolled off as a kid. But as an adult, man its tough.

Self-reliance is the only road to true freedom, and being one's own person is its ultimate reward.

Let go of your attachment to being right, and suddenly your mind is more open. You're able to benefit from the unique viewpoints of others, without being crippled by your own judgment.
